Thank you for the sweet wishes, hopes and prayers for Lady Snuggles. She is doing so much better! She's not quite where she was before the (supposed) mini stroke last week, but she has improved so very much. Her appetite is almost back to normal, she's moving much better and starting to talk more (again). She used to talk all the time, sometimes to the point of too.much. Now hearing her talk is music to my ears. Perspective. She sends purrs and loves to you too.
My world received a HUGE JOLT OF HAPPY today when I learned via email that I won a Meet & Greet pass for the Atlanta concert! I can't tell you how excited I am!!! You can probably imagine though. I have no clue what to say to Clay yet (not that I'll remember) and now I need a new outfit and to get a camera rounded up! I have GREAT camera equipment but it would probably be classified as 'professional', though it isn't. I used to take some wonderful photos of skaters; I've yet to get to take a picture of Clay! I have a small non-zoom point & shoot camera that I love, but it's not always consistent. Need to run a roll of film through it and check it out - that's on the list of things to do this weekend!!
Of all things, a passage in a fanfic got me back on track from my bit of reeling I did after reading the TVG article last Saturday. It was a scene where Clay had just performed a song he wrote at a BAF Gala and no one in the audience knew he wrote the song. It was one of those spellbinding moments and the audience erupted at the end, a rousing success. The piece was beautifully written and felt so real, for what could, and someday, may be. It was such a beautiful melding of two of Clay's worlds and somehow it just made me feel everything was alright.
Thank you for your concerns when I was feeling less than chipper earlier in the week. I appreciate and love you all.
Hugs,
Alice
