Fasination with Clay!

I have been viewing Clay Aiken videos for about two months now. I have viewed over 1000 videos. I can't seem to get enough of him. So exactly what is it that we are so fasinated with? I first started watching his videos from AI2. I was facinated by his voice. Then I watched him on talk shows. I was fasinated with his laugh, his humor and his genuine appreciation of his fans and the road he was on since AI2. Then I watched the JukeBox and Independent tours. I was fasinated with his ability to sing a large variety of songs and with such feeling. He made you feel he was singing about you. His looks started to change, mostly his hair. I looked all the looks. Then I started watching the banters. Not only did I love all his music, but know he is funny! And the fans couldn't get enough of him. Grown women my age were traveling all over the country just to see him in concert again and again. Then he grew up and again started taking on another look. His voice grew stronger and the banter continued. His genuine appreciation for his back up singers and the band memebers was amazing. So exactly again, what is it that makes us go weak in the knees for this southern, geeky like guy (no idea what color hair or style) who also makes fun of his lack of dancing and all his other flaws and he is gay. I just know that he is an amzaing man. I admire his work with charitiy organizations, his beautiful voice, his sence of humor and his ability to resist the fastpace and sometimes dark side of fame! I have never had the oportunity to see him live but I can only amagine what it was like.
