I discovered an unsuspecting Clay Fan!
We have a 10 year old black Lab, Calie, that needed to have surgery last week to remove a fatty growth on her right shoulder. We brought her home from the Vet to nurse her back to health. We have to change her bandages and giving her meds every few hours. She needs constant supervisor so she doesn't reopen the wound, which is about 10" long.
We also have a 7 month old Britney Spaniel, Tuck. He is full of life and a little ADD. lol The problem is trying to keep him separated from Calie so as not to excite her. That is easier said than done. If I put Tuck outside and Calie inside her Barks. If I put them in their separate pens in the house, he cries.
We decided that my husband would take Tuck in the master bedroom with him and I would take Calie with me in the spare bedroom. My husband went out of town all weekend so I had to come up with another plan. My son helped out as much as he could, but he had to work for a couple of hours. I had to put Tuck in his pen for awhile. I decided to play some music to help keep him calm. So I logged on the "All That Is Clay Aiken" website to play Clay's music. It worked, not a peep out of him!
So you see, Clay does the most amazing things in the most amazing ways. I couldn't wait to tell my husband I converted his dog to be a ClayDog!!
