It has been a long wait, with frustrations, worries, so many unknowns, spoken and unspoken fears, some troubling events, and concerns for Clay as well as the album. At times, this CD has seemed almost like a mirage, and each time we think we're getting close, it disappears, only to reappear further down the road-- an unobtainable paradise of sorts. But Clay is no mirage, and neither is the CD. He has been hard at work, and not only will his CD be released, but it, as well as the appearances and the tour to follow, will be worth the wait.

Soon, yes I said soon, we will have that CD in our hands. We will play it over and over, choosing a favorite song, discussing it at great length, reveling in his voice and the quality of the music. Then, before you know it, we will be smack dab in the middle of the tour---the OMG! OMG!, the Woo Hoo!!!, the "what was that MOVE??", the GAH!, the low moans, the laugh-out-loud moments, the moved-to-tears instances, the open-mouth, speechless reactions, the cheering, the dancing, and the out-of-our-minds-with-excitement celebrations. These good times, all the as yet unopened "gifts", will far outweigh any current frustrations, worries, and the period of painful waiting. The good times are coming, and I bet they'll be even better than the last time. Wow, can you even imagine????
