I was watching Dr. Phil the other day, and this woman was screaming at her son...saying all sorts of vile things. And the son was a pain in the a$$, granted, but she went off on him. So Dr. Phil said to her, do you know how many "Atta Boys" and "Nice going, sons" it takes to make up for your 5 minute tirade? Millions!

I think that people do not know what they are doing to their children, and I am sure that most of us have never gotten enough "Atta Boys" to make up for the bad stuff.
