Doing my best! PROMISE!

I know it's probably frustrating not to have heard the outcomes of ANY of the Christmas memory submissions yet. Trust me, I'm just as frustrated.

Quite a lot going on this week 'round these parts, as I am sure it is for you as well. Jesse, Quiana, and Angela just left today from 4 days of rehearsals here at the house, and now the place is filling with family and other friends in anticipation upwards of 40 people in the house for tomorrows festivities. Through it all, I fully expect to be in my little office all day reading and listening to more and more stories.

As I have said, we learn something from everything we do. The lesson this time: Ask for help!!

The folks at clayonline.com are working hard along with me throughout the holiday to make sure we have these stories edited, sent back to you, recorded, listened to and selected ASAP. Mary B. is on me hard to have the first five shows selected by Friday night, so we can get word to you all some how by this weekend.

But, just to give you a heads up.... if at all possible. Please check your e-mails as regularly as possible over the next several days. I know, I know... it's a horrible time to have to watch the computer.. but myself and the folks helping communicate needs to each of you will be online for as much of the day (and night) on Thursday and Friday to make sure your responses are listened to and any pertinent communication is relayed.

If you did submit for one of the first five shows... in the event you are selected... you will be asked to be at the venue at some point in the late afternoon. You'll also be asked to wear all black. However you want to dress is fine, as long as it is ALL black. That's just a heads up, since some of you will have very little notice.

Most importantly, PLEASE do you best to check your emails as much as you can over the next few days.

AND... since, I probably won't have a moment free to get back here tomorrow... have a marvelous Thanksgiving holiday! Even though you sure know how to BOMBARD me with work.... you guys are, without doubt, one of the things I am most thankful for this and every other day of the year!
