One more reason to not work.....

My dad will likely be facing prostate surgery and he will need someone to help him out awhile since he will not be able to drive. We find out probably in a week or so if he has to have it. Financially, I will be better off with the checks I have combined with my income tax than working where I am now. Tentatively, I have decided to work through Christmas season (unless my dad has surgery before) and then give a leave of notice. My college degree demands a lot of time and is costing me $30,000. Nothing to be taken lightly, lol.
