I have so many reasons to thank Clay....

Firstly, I would like to thank him for making my summer'07 the best summer of my life! It was the first time I had ever saw Clay live as I come from England & I only descovered Clay last year. With much discussion I managed to talk my partner into seeing 3 concerts, he couldn't understand why 3. I knew why & you know why I had to go to 3. But I found it difficult to explain Aiken fog to him, LOL!! My first concert was in San Diego. When Clay walked out onto the stage, I completely forgot to breathe, I don't think I took a breath through the whole of the first song!! I've relied on clack to bring back my memories of the whole concert....

Just a little break to say thankyou to all the clack godesses! I know now how difficult it is to get good clack. My photos were a huge disappointment.

Back to my first concert. My most memorable moment was when I heard Clay start talking about Lover All Alone. Before I went, I never watched any clack of him singing. When I heard the music start, this was my most anticipated moment, I had shivers, chills & goosebumps go up & down my whole body. I'd never experienced anything like it before. The tears started to burn my eyes, it was so sad yet so beautiful. It was well worth not watching clack for what seemed like an eternity just to have that feeling of a purely magical moment!! When he sang Because You Love Me I didn't think my heart could take much more. It was my first Clay concert & a time I will never forget.

Woohoo! I still had 2 more concerts to look forward to!!

I also went to see Clay at the Pala & The Greek. Pala was my favourite, although all 3 concerts were amazing(Hmmm, should I use this word anymore, LOL!), Pala stood out because it was the first time my partner had seen Clay live & he was on top form & so funny that night. Even my partner said he never expected to have such a good time. He's always liked Clay's music but he didn't know he was going to be so funny!

Thanx Clay for being so funny too!

I would also like to thank Clay for if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have made some of my most treasured friendships. The people I met in America were wonderful, they were internet friends but they made us feel so welcome. Thanx to them we were able to get from concert to concert. Nothing was to much trouble for them, they helped us in every way they could. They made our trip extra special. We made true friends there & can't wait to go back. It was really hard to say goodbye to them, I knew I would get upset but we were saying goodbye I saw my partner had a tear in his eye & I thought my heart was going to break right there & then! For someone I had only seen cry about twice, I was really shocked. He understood about Clay & the friendships I had made. He got it!!!

Finally i would like to say a heart felt thankyou to Clay for being YOU! For taking the trouble to come out side afterwards. For loving his fans as much as we love him. For being the person he is & making us so proud!
