So, how many of you were wondering what exactly Clay would be DOing on American Idol? I know I am one of the ones who wondered.

When the curtain first opened, I took a look at the silhouette and just couldn't believe it was Clay. As he sauntered toward the stage, I finally did recognize him. I was in such a state of shock that I think I lost my breath for a minute. I was so afraid that he was going to be mocked. I didn't know what to think of this new DO.

Then, he opened his mouth and the rest is history. In a play on JFK's famous words, "It's Not What Clay Can DO for AI, It's What AI Can DO For Clay!!!! He came and he conquered. He's still the best and he's my American Idol! He may not have actually received his "Confetti" moment on AI, but it was a close second! I can't wait to see what else he has in store for us!
