...I caught the last 2 eps of AI and am not impressed...I guess I'm just apathetic about the whole thing...can't get into it and seriously could care less who wins, much less who goes.

I do think Taylor is the only energetic person up there - everyone else, blah!

Anyway - Easter was great! We had 14 people to dinner - which hasn't happened since I was a kid and my Uncle would bring all my cousins over!

Actually, it was the first time in several years that my Cousin, Missy, came to dinner at my house - she brought her twin daughters with her. They are sooo cute! Although Alanna had a tooth ache from a cavity and cried through three-quaters of dinner!

Eating Easter candy all morning didn't help that!

We had a great time, and after dinner I painted the girls nails dark purple & red - because they just had to have them painted! and also needed to have me give them each a thing of lip gloss...

...because, again, they JUST HAD TO HAVE IT! They are too funny!

I haven't had another date with this guy I met...but he changed his profile on MySpace to say "in a relationship" - although my Sister's Boyfriend, Scott, is convinced he did it to blow me off...

...I'm not too sure yet. My reaction was, "He doesn't mean me does he?" because after all, we only went on 1 date and nothing happened...just dinner, talking, coffee and I gave him a hug goodbye - that's it.

We'll see I guess. He hasn't called me, nor emailed [except once before Easter to wish me a Happy Belated Bday]...

...since my Bday was April 10th!...I was an Easter Baby back in the day...

...I was actually born on Easter Sunday!

Anyway - I've been having fun going out with my Siblings and friends...hanging out at my Bro's apt - just having a good time.

With gas prices the way they are you can't really do much...and I've curtailed my trips to town and also stopped buying certain things.

I can't believe gas is over $3.00 a gallon in some places! YIKES!

$20 is the new $10 - as I say. Back several years ago, when gas prices first started creeping up to $2.00 [I know, gosh, I wish GAS were $2.00 a gallon now!] I used to only put $10.00 in and refused to put in more than that.

Now - $10.00 won't even get you 4 gallons for goodness sakes! - so now I have to put in $20.00.

Don't believe those forwards going around in email saying to boycott Gas Stations...or big companies like Mobile. Think about it logically and you'll see it's not going to work or make any difference.

It's all about saying "DO I really need to go here or there?" and then either don't or see if you can wait - like my Mom ...she needs to pick up her glasses...but why make a special trip 25 miles out of the way to get glasses when we are going into town on Saturday?

She's waiting until Sat - good move.

Oh-well...maybe some day in the future most of us will have hybrid cars that get better gas mileage and we won't have to go to the pump as often...Oh, I'm sure prices will remain high - but it's decreasing the amount of times you go that counts...

...and here I bought a Baja! I should have gotten a Toyota Prius like I wanted - but none were available when I was ready [read: fed up] to trade in my old car.
