As you can tell, I have a bit of a one track mind....when it comes to photography. I do think about other things, quite a few actually. But blogging about bills I just paid, what I'm studying, or the fact that really should do some laundry..... doesn't seem that interesting. So I blog about my passion instead. I found a whole mess of cool quotes about photography today... so I think what I might start doing here is putting up a quote then taking a photo that I think represents it. Sound good?

So I found this quote today and it said something to me. The thing that I love to do (photography) is really just a recording of the miracle of God's creation, and the ability to preserve the beauty created by any given moment, so it can viewed again and again.

The part of it that is the art is the way I choose to capture it and the fact that I know enough about my camera for it to preserve what I saw and how I saw it.

These photos are a prime example.
