An Update

06/12/07

So....I've finished all the outside work that I wanted to do on the house...painted the front door, the garage door, the side garage door, the shed, stained the deck, painted around the patio door, did the lawn stuff and killed all the weeds, washed the windows, sprayed the woods around the house for gypsy moth caterpillars and even cleaned out the garage and shed.

But, I don't have any clue where I'm going when I sell my house soooooo, maybe I'll just wait till next spring and hang out here for a little while.

Only thing is...my youngest son just gave his girlfriend an engagement ring and they set a wedding date for August 30, 2008. So, next summer we will be in the midst of a wedding. Gosh, maybe I'm just meant to live here.

Noooooo.....that couldn't really be God's plan, could it?! I hate shoveling snow. I want a townhouse. No more lawns to mow!!!

Well, I've tried staying open to what God wants...only the message just isn't coming. :(

Maybe there's a reason for that.

soooooo.... I think I'll just relax, clean the closets and go to concerts. :)

Had the second colonoscopy. This one sounded better. Still don't have the results for sure. I go back on the 21st. But, although I was still under the influence of the drugs, I heard the doctor say he didn't think he saw anything he was too concerned with. That was sure better than the last time, when he said, I'm not sure if its cancer or crohn's but there is something there.

I just have a feeling its all good. I also think, I'm all good.

I did a presentation to a breast cancer survivor's support group last night on talking with children about your cancer.

My friend went with me and helped. She has more experience with very young children than I do.

We laughed afterwards...

I remember early on when I was talking to someone at work about not wanting anything to do with support groups or the Susan G. Koman Foundation or anything cancer related...and she just shook her head and said, next year we'll be running the race for the cure.

She knows me so well. :)

All is well.
