I just heard from a friend I've not heard from in years. We were IM'ing back and forth online. It started out with hi how are you?, what have you been up to over the last 7 years?

She said not alot. But she is doing much better now.
I asked what had been wrong.

Like getting hit with a ton of bricks, she said she'd not been feeling well over the summer and went to the ER. While there, she was told she had a collapsed lung and double pneumonia.

And if that wasn't shock enough, the doctor then proceeded to ask her if any had ever told her she had leukemia.

She is in remission now and is feeling much better. She is excited with the possibilty that she will be allowed to go back to work pretty soon.

Any prayers and/or good thoughts on her behalf would be much appreciated.
