I don't post here very much. Lots going on. Especially since the last time I posted.

There was the Clay concert in Greensboro. I coughed through most of that though. I started feeling bad earlier that week and IU couldn't get rid of my cough.

After the concert, hubby and I drove to the Wendover exit, stopped at Steak and Shake for a bite to eat and while he was eating, I started falling face first into my food. I was really not well. Normally after something like that, my adrenaline is running high, but not that night. So we got back to High Point to my Mom's and slept hard. Got up the next morning early to be back in Raleigh for church. Not a good idea. From all the coughing I sounded horrible while singing a duet of all things.

So anyway, felt even worse that night. We skipped going to any candlelight services that night, but went to the get together with hubbys family. Turns out my mother-in-law and niece were also under the weather. IAter we left their place and headed home, I was really wanting to go look at Christmas lights, but hubby though it better to find some medicine for me that would help me sleep through the night. My first thought was,"oh how sweet!!" Turns out I was keeping him up with my coughing. He was just trying to get a good nights rest for himself. The next morning, I dragged myself out of bed nd hubby and I drove to his brithers house so we could watch the niece and nephew open presents.

We got home around noon, ate lunch, I took a nap, then whenever it was that I woke up we got around to opening gifts from each other and from my mom.

Later that night we drove around to look at lights but I got to coughing so bad it just was no fun, so we came home and I went to sleep.

By the following Friday, I was no better and now hubby was feeling rotten, so he took that afternoon off and we both went to the doctor. He was given a bunch of samples and told he had a viral infection.
I was given a prescription and told I had bronchitis. hat was one expwensive day. $ 30 each for the appointments and $35 for my prescription. It was cough syrup with something to help me sleep. Boy it worked well. Well, the I was finally able to sleep, but during the day, this cough still holds on.

After the doctor, we drove to my moms house to spend time with her. We both slept most of the time we were there. But Mom took care of us, made us homemade soup and even rice krispy treats. Saturday evening my older brtoher brought my nephew by for a visit.

He has gotten so tall!!! I'll try to post a recent picture of him here soon. He is now 2 and a half.
