Clay talking to you in the front row - priceless!

11/03/05

Hi everyone! We are back at our hotel and I am copying over clack. I posted a short clip to tide you over until tomorrow :) .

I have to say how priceless tonight was! When you have watched my videos you might notice that I tend to stay on Clay whether he is singing or not. I'm not trying to be disrespectful to the other wonderful talent in Clay's show. I know others are getting that. I love to keep the camera on Clay's face to get his reactions and priceless smiles and look of pride at what everyone else is doing and when they hit that note!

I was originally sitting of to the right in the second row, thanks to another Clayfan generously getting a hold of the tickiets and selling them to me. JT Granny called my friend and she helped me get the front row tickets that came up today, thank you!!! It was also wonderful to be able to share that with my dear friend Elfe350 that I finally got to meet today in real life (thank you again to Clay, I live in Iowa, she in Washington, we never would have met).

So yes, for the entire show, I did keep my camera on Clay's face. Clay you were beaming with pride and I wanted to capture that. I know that those just a few rows out would not be to get your expressions in the dark and me being that close, I could get some of it. I also am a ding dang perfectionist, so yes I did keep my arm up and wanted to get nice quality clips for all the fans out there who could not make this show, want to remember this show, and will be introduced to your talent! So that's why it said it has to be perfect :) .

Clay if you are reading our posts, it was absolutely wonderful. I was beaming with pride for you and all the new fans in the audience who now know your incredible talent. I loved your words, your singing was beautiful and the story so touched my heart. Cannot wait to see it again tomorrow night!

I also want to thank you for showing people how wonderful and special someone like my husband is in the world and reinforcing it to me. He has many of your wonderful, unique qualities (those that we know of, of course). He is a wonderful husband, with a huge heart for God, really cares about others and feels lost when he isn't helping them. I am very lucky and he is the love of my life. Unfortunately, he only has a great speaking voice, he does not sing. He also enjoys Clay very much and has IWCY on repeat many days. :)

I will write up a review tomorrow and will be working on video. I have the entire concert, curtain to curtain on video from the front row. Here is our situation. It is 1:30 am, we have a 5:45 am Amtrak train we are taking to Portland which is about an 8 hour trip. I need to sleep for a little while. But thankfully Amtrak has outlets on their trains! So I will be converting my clack on the way and I can start uploading tomorrow afternoon. :)
