It's been a while! I'm on my day off right now, sitting in my own bed. Ahhh it's nice to be home, even if for just a day. It was great to take a real shower, eat some real food, and of course, see my family. I've had two really awesome groups of campers so far, so lets hope that continues! I have a lot of stories to tell when I get back. I'll give you a little preview. They include a snapping turtle, jumping into the lake in my underwear, a sleep walker/talker, and an adorable little 5 year old. My Mom is still doing very well, and is getting more and more upbeat now that she only has two chemo treatments left. Her doctors had a meeting the other day, and decided that they are going to give her the full radiation treatment. That means 6 weeks of treatment, 5 days a week. Each treatment only lasts 10 minutes, but that means she has to commute to MGH in Boston every single day. We've all come to the conclusion, that it's for the best that she receives the full treatment. Better to be safe than sorry. Well I'm off to bed, time to rest before I head back to camp! ps can someone brief me on whats been going on? I've been completely shut off from the world for the past month.
