I wonder, do you like to wash feet?
03/31/07
"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord', and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet."

What a blessing when we can reach out to others and as Jesus said, "Wash their feet". Today is the TBAF Gala benefit dinner where many will come together to celebrate service.
I look forward to hearing the stories of those who are being honored for their service. I also look forward to hearing all that Clay will share in thoughts and song!
That's the great thing about The ClayNation, even when we are miles away, someone always finds a way for us to feel like we are right there.
I spent some time in prayer last night for Clay, The Foundation, this Gala Benefit, and all those who will attend. It's fun to see Clay living out his passions and how lives are touched because of them.
I wish Clay & TBAF many blessings as they continue to Bless others!

Well as much as I look forward to the 'clack' from today's Gala Benefit, I am growing more and more excited for this 2007 Summer of Love Tour!
I'll never forget the magic of The Jukebox Tour! Gus and I drove to see Clay at the Indiana State Fair and then went on to Meadville, PA and saw that show as well. It was so much fun to see Clay again and many online friends for the first time!
The summer before that when Clay gave us his Summer Solo Tour I was in heaven so to speak. I was there for the first concert in North Dakota and heard Clay sing Shine! It is my favorite song on MOAM. How wonderful that I was there the first time he sang it live! :) I loved that show so much that spontaneously the next day I drove to South Dakota to see him sing again. Ha ha!
Clay came to Minnesota that tour and we had a blast celebrating at the State Fair!
It was especially magical though in Iowa.
I still grin as I think about that day in Des Moines when my friend Gus stood on the stage and sang to Clay. I think my heart was ready to burst when I saw Jerome walking up the stairs to tell him that he had been chosen to sing with Clay. I got to go down there and stand right in front and experienced every moment up close and personal.
What blessing that was!
Gus sang on behalf of all of us. Showing Clay just how much we appreciate
"The Way He makes us feel".

Our summer's are always filled with Magic When Clay hits the road to sing for us!
The anticipation fills my heart with joy!
We still don't have a midwest tour date yet but that's okay. Gus and I LOVE roadtrips and we haven't missed a tour yet!
"A Simple Prayer"
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is depair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born
to eternal life.

Many blessings to you and don't forget to "Wash some feet" this week!
Love, Meesh
