Skills. Napoleon Dynamite knew all about skills. (Love him!) I feel like I used to have more skills. The board kept changing. I'm kind of lost now. Don't have a clue how to include a picture in my blog. It doesn't really matter because I love Clay

and can talk about him even though my blog isn't pretty or noteworthy.

What's happened lately?

Parker. What an adorable baby! He looks just like Clay, only cuter. Sorry, Clay. It's true. You are cute, handsome, and have skills, but I think you can admit that Parker is a little cuter.

30 Rock finale. I don't usually watch that show, but watched and recorded the finale to see Clay. Loved loved loved it!!! Clay's acting was understated and perfect. I laughed at "What were YOU doing down there?" When Clay sang in the kidney song my husband turned to me and said That Voice!

Now the kidney song is stuck in my head again! Auuuuuuu! Help!

Fingers crossed that Clay will get to be on the show some more in the new season. Kenneth's cousin.

Idol Season 8. We always watch because we enjoy a good singing contest. No one this season captured my heart at all. I liked Kris OK. We liked Allison. Adam was too over the top for me. I don't like skreech scream singing. (Though I like The Who singing at the start of CSI.)

For years we've been making comments on the boards about some contestants making our "ears bleed." It's just an amusing way of expressing our dislike for their voice or style. I agree with Clay's opinion on Ring of Fire. Way OTT. Randy Travis agreed too. You could see it on his face. And Simon didn't like it either. Some people did like it. Obviously not enough to vote Adam American Idol, but I think he'll do fine and have a profitable career.

The Idol Judges. They annoy the cr*p out of me. I'm so tired of Randy's "gangster" language, and his juvenile booing of Simon. Give us a break, dude! When Paula is gushing, trying to express herself, and trying to remember her obviously (to me) scripted lines, it seems like she's on the edge of hysteria. All I can think is Oh brother! Give me a break. The slap and tickle and drawing on faces battles between Paula and Simon are more embarrassingly silly than funny, and I'm so tired of them making the show more about them than the contestants.

Tabloids. They are cementing their reservations in Hades with their lies. They do it all for money. Doesn't matter to them who they hurt along the way. Money is their god. Disgusting.

The Future. I'm anxious to see Clay in more appearances. Whereever. I hope his jaw heals up (I think he looks terrific!) and he can sing as he always has. He sounded terrific on 30 Rock!
