A couple of weeks ago I started a thread about blog etiquette. It was aimed at people who, IMO, abuse the privilege of responding to Clay's blog. I know that it's really none of my business what other people choose to write and that the scroll button is my friend. The thread got a little bit of response, but not much so I let it go. This morning, though, I sent a PM to one of the "offenders". (my word, my opinion only) I tried to be polite. I tried to be respectful. I tried not to be judgmental. This is what I sent: "I know it is none of my business and you probably don't care what I think, but I am curious about why you post the same comment over and over again on Clay's blog. I find it irritating which means I can just scroll past, but I keep wondering why you think that's a good idea?"

This is the rsponse I got (also in a PM): "DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ASKING ME STUPID QUESTION. WHAT DO YOU THINK? IF YOU ARE SMART YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO ASK SUCH A QUESTION. GET A LIFE AND STAY OUT OF MINE THANK YOU VERY MUCH ALSO DON'T HATE ME BECAUSE YOU ARE JEALOUS! I WILL NOT READ ANY MORE OF YOUR EMAILS. PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE. PEACE"
