17 Again review and Women Of Faith Weekend

04/27/09

Okay so yeah. I promised you all a movie review and here it is. 17 Again. It's rated PG-13 and with good reason. It's not that the language is bad, but the concepts of having a child in HS, getting a divorce and premarital sex might be a bit too heavy for a young child to handle. Now, not to say it's a bad movie (especially with the Clay Aiken joke aside.) it's actually very good, but you should be old enough to understand the problems that these people are going through. Other than that though the concept is something like the movie "It's a Wonderful Life". If you could change things would you? I like Zac Effron don't get me wrong, but the movie isn't exactly HSM 3. You've been warned.

Now on to my wonderful weekend. I went to Women Of Faith for the first time and I must say I loved it. It was held at Nationwide Arena and there were women of every age everywhere. Women like Patsi Clairmont, Shiela Walsh, and others spoke to us. Steven Curtis Chapman played us some music and Mandisa (yes the girl from American Idol.....season 5 I think) was there. I never had so much fun....I froze, but I had so much fun. I think next year I will bring a blanket and a sweater. It's cold in that arena ladies. I must say if you get the chance to go, get a friend and go. Or go alone you meet people. It's worth the money and I know I would not trade the feeling I got this weekend for anything. If you get the chance go or find the women of faith website and buy the DVD. They record the whole Columbus show so you don't miss a thing. Next year promises to be even more exciting and I can't wait to go back. Well that's all for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful week. Always and forever a Claymate Remix_girl
