I have to share this with yall because I am just so excited. Two days ago I got a call at around 8:30 that my best friend had gone into labor. I was in shock. Utter shock. I was out the door so fast all I said to mom was. "Hospital, Sara, baby." I got to the hospital in about ten minutes. I rushed in and hugged Sara. She was already at about 4 centimiters. In the next about hour she was fully dialated. I was sent to the waiting room because you're only allowed to have three people in the dilivery room and she had her mom, my other best friend and her boyfriend (baby's daddy) in the room already. I was like a nervous father. I paced the waiting room and did a good deal of praying. I was really hungry, but I wasn't going to leave. I feared I'd miss it. Finally at 12:01 Riley Vincent was born. He is 7lbs 5oz and 21 inches. He already has a thick head of dark hair and eyes like his daddy. He's so adorable and holding him was like a dream come true for me. It's still amazing and a little overwhelming. Mom and baby are both fine and doing great as well.
