SCROLL DOWN FOR MY FOURTH ENTRY

Okay, picture time is over, now onto my blog!

I DID IT!!!! I DID IT!!!

Do you hear that???

I got the music to automatically play!!!!!!!

Note: I stopped it from autostart,

so you can hear the video in my

blog above. To make this play,

simply hit the play button.

What's new? Well, lots of stuff! Too much to write at one time, so I'll just keep adding entries to this blog until I am up-to-date!

FIRST ENTRY - OPEN ARMS:

Can you hear Clay singing Open Arms????A couple of weeks ago, someone asked me if I had made a mp3 of "mostly Clay" out of Open Arms from the Independent Tour like I had done with What The World Needs Now. I hadn't at the time, but the request was made, so I took my footage from Nassau and Worcester and spliced it together so it is mostly Clay singing Open Arms live! It's not perfect. I tried and tried, but couldn't get them to fit together perfectly. But I did it nonetheless. What you are hearing is a preview of it. You can stop it from playing by just pressing the pause or stop botton at the top....or turning the sound off of your computer. ;-) If you would like a copy for yourself, you can download it here:

Open Arms Live mp3 - mostly Clay <-----NEW LINK as

of 6/21!!!

HUGE THANKS to everyone that sent me messages on how to get it to work. I used everyone's advice. Too many people to name, but you know you are. Thank you so, so, so much!!!! {{{HUGS}}}

SECOND ENTRY - BURNT EYELASHES!:

Okay, so I’m lucky I’m not blind right now. Seriously. Last week, my Mom and I were really in the mood for cheeseburgers and hot dogs on the grill. It had just stopped raining out, and it was a little windy and cool. We have a small tabletop grill with a small propane tank. So I take the grill out, set it atop our plastic outdoor table and turn on the tank. There is a small hole underneath to light it and vents on the bottom, which I look through to see if it is lit. So……I go to light it and all of a sudden I see this huge fireball coming right at me!!! I was only like 6-8 inches away from the vents of the grill. I actually SAW the fire come right at my eyes! Luckily, apparently I have quick reaction, cuz I shut my eyes and just felt the heat on my face. I jumped up and I could smell burnt hair! ACK! This all happened in a matter of like 2 seconds. So I’m smacking myself in the forehead and all over my head just in case I was on fire. Yes, it surely must’ve been a sight to see! Now, I have A LOT of long, curly hair, but thankfully, it was up in a pony tail, but I was still worried. So I run into the bathroom to look in the mirror to see if I still had hair and aside from some singed bangs, it seemed okay. Then I noticed my eyelashes……..GASP! They were all light brown and all curled up!!! ACK!!! The top AND bottom! So I touched them and they fell off! Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!!! So I was able to pick off most of my burnt eyelashes and now they are about half the length they used to be! My bottom eyelashes are like 1/8” long! My first thought? “Oh no, now I am going to have to wear mascara!” Yeah, I keep my makeup to a minimum – takes me 5 minutes to do my makeup.

So it just goes to show how close that fire was to making me blind! I am so lucky! It’s been 5 days, and when I blink, my eyelashes still kinda stick together from being curled up, and no haven’t worn mascara.

UDATE: It's been a week now, and my eyelashes have finally stopped sticking together! Woohoo!

2ND UPDATE: The eyelashes on my right eye are sticking again! What the heck? And all of them are all jagged. Hopefully, no one looks at them up close!

THIRD ENTRY - THANX & NUTS:

Okay, this entry has NOTHING to do with what I've been up to, but.........Thank you for all of the comments, I love reading them! And thanx for your concern over my eyelashes! Haha! I am so glad you like the "spliced" version of Open Arms. It makes me happy to be able to bring whatever Clayjoy I can to all the Clayfans! hehe

In a comment by Claymagnet, she asks why girls go nuts over Clay. Why??? Let me count the ways! Unfortunately, I don't know him personally, (although, I wish I did.......I mean, who doesn't???), but from the TV and live in concert, for me, I'm nuts about him cuz he is so (not in any particular order) darn gorgeous, sweet, funny, adorable, caring, giving, sexy, loving, genuine, so freakin' hot and has the bestest voice evah!!! What do you guys think???

FOURTH ENTRY - AMUSEMENT PARKS!:

Okay, this past weekend, I had to get out of this crappy rainy weather, so we headed over to Pennsylvania and went to Dorney Park. We went there a few years ago, paid to get in, looked around, and were like, huh? This place sucks! And then left! Well, Cedar Fair (who owns Cedar Point) took it over, and has added a few new roller coasters. So it wasn't bad. They have 3 pretty big loop coasters, a regular loop coaster, a wooden coaster, and a big regular coaster (205 feet - not nearly as tall as the Millenium Force or Top Thrill Dragster or Kingda Ka, but still a good coaster). So anyway, it was freezing! Okay, not freezing, but very cold! Not even 60 degrees in the morning. And it was very windy, which made it worse. When the sun would peak out, it got better, but probably not until about 2:00 p.m. did it finally warm up enough to take my sweatshirt off. There weren't too many people there, so the lines weren't very long, so that was good. It was only $35 to get in, so that was good too. All in all, it was much better than being home!

For Memorial Day Weekend, we went down to Virginia to go to Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens. It was very nice weather that weekend. Kings Dominion has this roller coaster called Hypersonic and it launches you from 0-80 in 1.8 seconds! I cannot describe what it is like. It's such a rush! You're perfectly still and you are just pushed so hard!! Nothing like it!

Ok, well, Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster are kinda like it - Kingda Ka is 0-128 in 3 seconds, but it's more of a pulling up to that speed, and believe me it's just as fast! But the Hypersonic is like a push - it's a different type of feeling. Anyway, they are all great!!!! You HAVE to experience it for yourself to fully understand. It's the best rush ever. Well, okay, I guess the best rush is when you are teetering on top of Kingda Ka at 458 feet in the air! And then you look down and see the ground 458 feet below you. And then you start heading 90 degrees straight down for it! You can see a lot from up there. There's just no other feeling like it.

Oh yeah, and you gotta sit in the front!

And hands up the WHOLE time! ;-)

More of "what's new with me?" to come! So keep checking back!
