More Concerts / Photography
03/07/06I've been taking a break from the message boards recently, and doing lots of other fun stuff like playing chess & computer games with my son.
Someone told me Clay had posted photos of his vacation, so of course, I had to come check them out! Clay seems to prefer the documentary method of photography. He certainly has taken lots of photos of churches. I find they often have very interesting architecture. I captured a couple of them last summer during my trip to New England:

I have to admit I've never been tempted to tour Eastern Europe in winter. Notice that I took my trip to New England during the SUMMER. I knew there were several good reasons to live in Florida. I think we may have gotten down to 50 degrees one evening recently.
I have been remiss in posting my other concert photos. Here's some shots of the cool anime' lighting effects from Ricky Martin's concert (sometimes it is so much easier to show than to tell):

I had not seen Ricky in concert before. He is quite the entertainer. He has what I would call a "martial arts" flair to his movements. Like Clay, he knows where the cameras are located (as you may notice from my photo gallery):
Ricky Martin - Orlando, FL - February 2006
Now, I'll have to challenge Clay to see if he can "outshine" Ricky in concert lighting for his next tour. It was really great for picture taking.
Speaking of concerts, I saw Bonnie Raitt last week, and I'll post the link when I get them assembled into an album. As usual, it will take me a while. My time is at a premium these days from too much work & too many computer games :-)
Photos of the Day:

"The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth." - Niels Bohr
"You cannot have a proud and chivalrous spirit if your conduct is mean and paltry; for whatever a man's actions are, such must be his spirit."
- Demosthenes
"I never saw an ugly thing in my life: for let the form of an object be what it may - light, shade, and perspective will always make it beautiful." - John Constable
