So Sunday morning my computer got zapped by a power surge. I took it to a friend who's going to work on it for me, and it turns out that I need a new motherboard. Definitely fixable, but it's gonna be a few days. At least I can check in while on campus, and I can go visit my mom and use her computer for the time being.....but I want my own back! FEH!!

sigh....I will live. I guess.
