MR. AIKEN NOT GETTING IT?
12/27/05What's this? Clay Aiken doesn't know if his singing is affecting people's lives?
Mr. Aiken if you ever, by any chance, see this blog (it will be a miracle if you do), please know that your singing aside from your humanitarian effort is affecting people's lives in a very positive way.
Personally, I like to think that since I became your fan and your supporter, I made little changes to some of my behavior.
Oh, you want examples:
I learned to put people first when I am speaking, writing, or referring to a person with disability. You see, no one pointed that out to me before I read some of your written articles.
I spend more money at Amazon.com or at Barnes & Noble. I buy anything and everything that has your name on it. In multiples. Good for the economy. I say it's very positive.
I regain my appreciation in music when you came along. It is very energizing to once body and mind to be able to enjoy music again. I even started exercising. I compiled all of your fast and energetic music in one disc and got 55 minutes of dance work out 3 times a week using it. In other words, you are helping me stay healthy.
When I cannot sleep, I use your demo cd and honestly, I cannot even make it to the 4th song, not that the cd is boring or anything  I'd say it is soothing! You are helping me get my sleep. Very important!
I have a lot of new friends I would not have met if it weren't for your singing.
I bought a new pc with tons of storage capability :) got dsl for faster download, learned new computer skills, and having a great time with my Clayboard friends.
Not but not least, It is great, and I mean great, to be able to admire someone who professes his faith.
As far as generosity, I am a regular contributing member to our church even before I met you so you cannot take credit for that
I'm sure others have much better answer for you. Please get IT! If nothing else, please know that with your singing, we all simply fell in love, again, and that is a wonderful feeling.
You make me happy in some ways Mr. Aiken. That is a huge change in my life.
