Well it's about time I started writing in this thing... I've only been a member for about 2 weeks or so, but it has been SO worth it so far. My favorite part is reading Clay's blogs. I think that in itself is worth the money!

A little bit about myself...

My name is Amanda, I'm 18, and I live in a tiny town called Palmyra, NJ. But most of the time I'm in Elizabethtown, PA because I am a freshman (sorry, "first year student") at Elizabethtown College. When I'm not at school, I live with my mom, dad, and sister. And my adorable puppy (who isn't really a puppy anymore), Trixie, who is a Shih Tzu. I love playing soccer, reading (especially Harry Potter), swimming, and just relaxing. Obviously, I am a HUGE Clay fan. I actually do listen to some other music though. I'm a big country fan, and that's saying a lot, considering I absolutely HATED country music about a year ago. Some of my favorites are Rascal Flatts (a close second to Clay), Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Sara Evans, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, and Lonestar. I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but oh well. I also like a bunch of random music. I don't know if I can pick an all-time favorite song of Clay's. My favorite demo is Love of My Life. My favorite MOAM song is MOAM. My favorite MCWL song is a tie between O Holy Night and MCWL. My favorite song to hear live is a tie between I Survived You and Solitaire. My favorite Christmas song to hear live is O Holy Night. My favorite "new" song that Clay debuted during the JBT is Back For More. And of course, Invisible will always have a special place in my heart. Wow, that was really long.

I have been to a total of six concerts.

1. IT- Philly
2. Benefit concert in Dover
3. NAT- Baltimore (my favorite one- I'll tell you why in a minute)
4. NAT- Musikfest
5. JNT- Sewell
6. JBT- Tom's River

Soon, it will be 7. I got the best seats I've ever gotten yesterday. I'll be sitting in the 16th row on Saturday, December 3rd in New York. I CANNOT wait!

My "home board" is the RCA messageboard. The people there are amazing, and I would never think of leaving that board. My username there is aiken4clay19 which brings me to my current username...

At the Baltimore concert, I had a sign (don't hate me yet- I had an aisle seat, and I only put the sign up when the house lights were on and I could go out into the aisle...) that said "CLAY- I CAN'T WINK. TEACH ME?" Now it's important to know that I honestly can't wink. I just can't do it... So during the concert, Clay didn't see my sign. After it was over, my mom said to me, "If you really want to wait for the buses, we can because we're at the top of the parking garage so it's going to take us forever to get out of here anyway." So we waited for about an hour. I was on the left side of a dumpster with a small group of people. On the other side of the dumpster was everyone else. Clay finally came out, and he went to the right side of the dumpster to shake hands and whatnot. He got on the bus, and I ended up being about 15 feet away from it. I turned around and grabbed my poster from my mom (I dropped my brand new tour shirt in a puddle doing this and didn't even bother to pick it up...). I help my sign up, but Clay was facing the other way. He finally turned around, and was waving at the crowd. Then I could tell he saw my sign and was reading it. He looked right in my eyes and winked at me =D So ever since then, one super-cool member of the RCA board has called me "Wink." And that, is how I got my username.
