Clay\'s Blog
11/02/05I loved that Clay blogged before he launched his second annual JNT. Even if it was mainly for him to tell us about the camera issues and how to get ourselves some clack….heehee! He wants me to be respectful, discrete, understanding and sensible. I already am because I leave the picture taking to others who can do it right….thank you to the clack gatherers. So this is what I said to him about his not finding anything on the internet after our peek into the tour shown on the Insider…..
Hi Clay.....
I am amazed you didn't find anything about your appearance on the Insider and what you shared with us of your rehearsals of the new Christmas tour. At my home board, Clayversity.org, we were abuzz all day. First, we began by extrapolating on what we might see, the anticipation building. Then we took a few clues offered by the early viewers and ran with that for a while, dissecting and again extrapolating. But, once we hurriedly downloaded the clack taken of the Insider (within minutes of its showing), we watched….and then watched it a few dozen more times. We then discussed EVERYTHING! We talked about your clothes (we love you in black and a fitted shirt and slacks), we talked about the Christmas pants of GAH! We talked about your using the audition number for the door of the house and how cute it was for you to point that out to us. We used magnifying glasses to identify those players bouncing around behind you as if they were on a sled, we watched your mouth closely to identify the song you were singing when there were no musical sounds, we identified the young actor and read his bio online and how wonderful it was that you were going to be tutoring (that took quite a few pages). We continued by discussing the possibility of penquins in the script, how you sat in your jammies to write the story and how it might lead to your writing a song. We talked about the Christmas pants again and the shorter jacket and we talked about the pros and cons of fake snow. When we weren't discussing every image you provided for us, we were EEEEEEEEEing and Ahhhhhhhhhhing over it again and celebrated that we all had tickets and would actually be able to see it in person, some of us from very expensive broker tickets just so that we can see without binoculars. And since there wasn't much to talk about today until you blogged, we continued the EEEEEEEEEEE's.
So, Clay, the next time you want a pulse of what your internet fans are saying about any bit of news from you, come visit us at Clayversity, where we study every nuance of your career!
Love you, Wink/Lynne
