It's official: CLAYDAWG IN THE FAMILY : )
12/16/07I thought it was about time for a new one instead of continuing to update the old one.
Last night we had a wonderful cellcert, as usual. Everything would've been perfect if it hadn't been for my brother's lousy computer and its crappy relationship with the OFC chatroom. But I wouldn't be defeated by technology. NEVER! I kept coming back every time it kicked me out. And the reports came through, wether it wanted them to or not. I would insult this computer a lot further but for the fact that I am using it right now and I have to admit I'm scared it will turn against me. I know, I should stop watching Transformers.
Anyways, this morning when I woke up (actually it was noon hehe), my brother had just woken up too in the next door bedroom and he began singing (with a voice as horrible as mine, might I add) What you doing tonight?
I was like WTF! My brother's singing Invisible completely out of the blue!
Later, when we were going out for lunch, since MOAM is still in the car's player, he told my mom: "play the CD!", which, of course, she didn't do, but still...
And even later, when I was driving the two of us to get some ice cream he said that if I wanted to, he would figure out the chords of some of Clay's songs and upload them on some music websites, so that people would be able to download his music, and that he would also upload the music sheet he wrote for No More Sad Songs. He also told me I should create a website in Spanish about Clay so that I could tell everyone about him and he would be famous and eventually come to Argentina.
Besides the fact that it sounded a little naive and cutely innocent (no idea how showbiz works, poor boy), to me, it also sounded like he was trying to campaign for Clay to come over here... it sounded like he wants to see him in concert!
I told him: "as soon as I post this on the OFC you'll be getting a "CLAYDAWG" pin from some claymate".
I mean, wasn't that adorable?
12/17: Last night's cellcert was fun and kindda crazy. Prayers for Angie and her family and prayers for everyone travelling last night and today, including Clay and some of my OFC friends. Also for those who will be travelling for the last dates of the tour. May you all be safe.
Back to my brother, the main topic of this entry, if you go to www.cifraclub.terra.com.br (it's a brazilian music website), and search "Clay Aiken" you will find the chords for NMSS. My brother figured it out and uploaded it last night after the show was over. And right now (I just got home from work) I found him doing some more of his claydawg stuff, hehe.
I know it's silly, and it's just the chords, but to me it's so exciting to go there and find proof of the connection between my brother and Clay. He can't deny it no more now LOL
EDIT: LOL my brother just asked if you go see that to please vote for five stars on his chords hehe
12/18: Last night's cellcert was cool but not very crowded. Where was everyone?!
And leaving my brother aside for a little while, back to what's really important.
Here's one from Williamsport on the 15th:
Ah, what I wouldn't give to be a michrophone... THUD
And this one cannot be "mistaiken". It's obviously from Erie LOL
Could his hair look any funnier? CUTE, CUTE, CUTE. Be honest, Clay, had you just rolled out of bed?
And here's one from last night, at Cleveland:
I love these new Christmassy lights on the background!
Riversend, huge thanks for the amazing pictures. No photographer I know of can pull it off like you did. You rock and so do your pics!
Thank you, Lisa, for the beautiful background.
Lots of Clove
YAMI
PS: BTW, I told my mom I wanted to go to Mexico for Christmas. You know what she said?
"What is Clay doing in Mexico for Christmas?!"
LOL... it scares me how she reads my mind : )
But, Clay, if you need a translator, I'm your guy... er, girl... er, insane claymate! Whatever, I can do it!
12/20: I missed the cellcert last night beacuse I was baby shopping. But as soon as I got home I went to chat and could talk to my two sisters, Jen and Juana, always a pleasure, and had a little fun til 3 in the morning. I wonder how the venue is gonna be tonight for the second night in a row. I hope it's quite full!
