Out New York: Ever worry you’ll get a limb torn off?
Clay Aiken: Maybe just squeezed to death. [Laughs] But the Claymates are just a section of the fan base. The overwhelming majority are very respectful, very protective and mothering. If I sneeze onstage one night, 15 people show up at the next tour stop with Triaminic. I’ve got far more mothers than I ever needed!

OK this is driving me absolutely crazy. I loved his blog so much! And now I am also excited for the news about the site! Can't wait to see the changes! (Let's hope only good ones)

I have no doubt the claymates will behave. This family needs no parenting from some of us to the others. I trust that everyone will not only respect Clay's wishes, but also Broadway policy.
We might be crazy ("enthusiastic"), but we're nowhere near as out of line as everyone seems to think. Dontcha worry, Clay! We will not embarrass you. :)
Does it make ANY sense at all that I am SO freaking excited about this thing when I am not even going to be there?
I just can't wait! The truth is I'm just excited for him. I think this is a marvelous opportunity for our guy to spread his wings and show the world what he's made of. I hopw life in New York doesn't treat him too bad.
I am very sure this will be great, not only for him but also for all of us as a family as well. And I am sure we will grow through this. I mean, look at this pictures and tell me how it'd be possible for us not to win some more funs over with this absolute cuteness.
