You know how when you're a teenager, EVERYTHING IS MAJOR DRAMA? LIKE, head bop, ALL THE TIME? I was waaaay too into the 12 year old mentality. So, I took a wee little break of sorts. Just read enough to keep up, in case he wanted me to call him or something. : )

I read a great book. I know I'm not Clayworthy in the recommendation department, or any department, really, but I would love to share this book. IF you are a reader, do yourself a favour and check out The Messiah of Morris Avenue, by Tony Hendra. I found it to be an interesting, thought provoking read. I generally skim the surface of books, I'm a quantity type when it comes to reading... but this one made me slow down and really read and pay attention. Kinda like when I read the Kite Runner a few months ago. /delusion. I hope Clay calls me to trade reading tips. /end delusion.

And I found I listened to the words. Kinda like when I listen to Clay sing.

If you have something to say....say it well, and with emotion.

I guess that's what I tend to pay attention to. Cause I'm so flighty and all. You have to hit me over the head with a hammer. And Clay's voice is a dingdang mighty hammer.

I don't care about much else. I just want to hear him again.

I wouldn't turn down a front row ticket, however. : ) But I suppose Jemock will get that one. Something to be said for wordsmithing. Which I am sooo hoping for on the new cd. I don't care whose words we hear, I just want to hear. And I'll even sign Jemock's front row tickets if she gets them for us sooner. : ) My signature and a quarter will get her a piece of bubble gum. Which should rinse Clay's mouth out nicely once he gets done dry heaving. /end piggybacking on the popular one. : )
