Okay

Well, it's been a heck of a while since I been moved to write here. Guess I haven't been feeling quite "regular," as it were. heh.

I don't really have any new thoughts, but wanted to share my evening's events. Daughter and I spent an evening doing manicures and pedicures with each other, and applying LOVELY 4th of July nail tattoos to our nails. We are gonna be sooo topical. And we watched a Hillary Duff movie whilst we were being artistic.

And I know it sounds cheesy. But it was fun. And, yes, I am an adult, by number and by profession, but I still find enjoyment and messages in tweenie films. I often prefer them to the "movies" hawked up at adults nowadays.

As I said, I have nothing to say, but just wanted to say "something." I'm still here, and I will be here again, if someone ever tells me how. And that's all I'll say about that.

I think, in honor of our new nails, I shall go watch clack of the 4th at the Capitol. I still haven't decided if I like the final showing best or the rehearsal footage we were lucky enough to see. : )

Happy holiday to all who celebrate. I know my neighborhood will be putting on the dog. It ain't the 4th till the leaves under the deck catch on fire. It's sooo exciting pouring buckets of water under the deck once that chicken that spits sparks out its hind end on the cement patio on the end of the deck makes the journey to light the detritus under the deck on fire for the holiday. NOW, that's fireworks. : )

OH, and forgot, ETA I want to recommend ANOTHER book. If you get a chance, read Annie Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral. By Kris Radish. Yes, unfortunate vegetable name, but a thought provoking, while humorous read.
