OMG, CLAY "FIXED" HIS TEETH !!!

02/15/07

Yesterday's appearance of Clay on "Jimmy Kimmel Show" brought out two major things.

The first is, that Clay mentioned he would be going on a trip with UNICEF. I wish he gave us more details, but maybe he wasn't allowed.

Is it possible that he could be sent to Afghanistan?

This thought causes my heart to contract with pain and fear for his safety. Can't help it. But he will do what he thinks is right.

The second major thing we found out about our beloved Clay, is that he changed his teeth. Wow! He seemed quite excited about them, and I am glad he does things that probably are important for his self confidence. Not that I saw any need for him to go and change them, but to me it's fine. He was very self conscious about them yesterday. He was clearly checking his front teeth with his tongue, and he admitted he looked at them in the camera, and was wondering if the Claymates have noticed. Hee, Clay is a little vain? I don't think so. I'm thinking, he must have been told, when he was much younger, that he was ugly? But judging from pictures we all know, he never was ugly. He has always been a cutie!

Of course, we as his adoring fans, cannot understand why does Clay feel the need of making improvements in his looks, when to us he is perfect!! Wasn't he surprised and baffled, when he heard a colletive moan of disapproval from the Claymates at the Jimmy K. Show? I haven't gone to read the boards yet today, because I'm scared to see the drama there. I can only imagine the heated arguments about whether he looks much worse now, and see the complaints of those fans who "loved" Clay's "little chicklet teeth". Me, I wasn't too attached to them. I think, if he was going to change anything in his appearance, and asked me - I would have pointed the teeth as the only thing. I have always thought they were not the best. Clay is right, they were slanted inwards, and too small.

Funny thing is, on Monday, I suddenly felt the urge to look through some stuff I had written about Clay in the past. I remembered I had once written a series of several poems about Clay's facial features. I opened the one about his mouth, and there was the mention of "funny teeth". Oh, I wrote this in 2004, I can't believe it.

Your mouth

I watch with fascination.

When you sing, your lips dance When you speak, your lips tease I know, that sooner or later I can expect they part to reveal A little glimpse of the tongue Or the funny teeth in full smile But I don't know when it's going to happen! So I stare mesmerized.

Stop your laughter! It enslaves me too!

OK, now that I have this topic off my chest, I'm going to read the boards. I just hope there is no war there.
