Hi, horrible news today from Virginia Tech. My son is a student there, but he currently lives off campus with a bunch of friends. He called me at work this morning. I started the conversation as usual, joking about something, and he interrupted me in a grim tone: "So I guess you have no idea what's been going on". I immediately thought he got into some personal trouble. Then he told me about the shooting. He kept telling me about it, and I opened the CNN website, and there it was. The only difference was, that he told me there were 20 students killed, and CNN reported one dead. I couldn't believe his information. However, within minutes, CNN updated their web page and confirmed the number of victims. I was wrong when I exclaimed to my son: "It's impossible!"
