Hope your summer is going well and you’re enjoying yourselves! It’s hard to believe that it’s already half over! It seems once the 4th of July comes, the season flies by!

I’m very proud of Clay for taking another trip for UNICEF to the country of Somalia. Once again, he has demonstrated how much he loves and deeply cares for children. It’s sad and heart wrenching to read about the terrible conditions in which these people live. I can’t even imagine what their daily lives must be like. It really makes me think and to be more appreciative and grateful for the blessings I’ve been given. The song “Grace of God” says it all.

Thanks so much to Clay for representing the US as ambassador for UNICEF, as he helps to raise funds to assist so many who are in need. He has a huge heart and is truly sincere about the work he does, not only for UNICEF but for TBAF, as well. Clay said he wanted to make a difference. He has in more ways than one. We all know how he has touched us and others through his music, smile, kind personality, sense of humor, and work for these charities.

I love these special pics of Clay's trip to Somalia! You would never know these people have such difficult lives from the smiles on their faces. Clay has a way of bringing joy and sunshine that can brighten up any place, and the expression on his face holding the precious, little baby is just priceless.

May God bless and be with the children who strive to survive each day. My heart and prayers go out to them.

Last but not least, I'm so grateful to CarolinaClay and Ashes for all of the hard work they put in at the fan club and into their entries. They are a huge asset to the OFC. I mentioned to Caro in one of my earlier comments that her blogs are like like having our own newspaper here, with all of the latest Clay happenings. I also love visiting you, too! You have your own special touch you add to brighten my day and make me smile. The beautiful graphics and montages that have been created by the artists, and all of the pics taken by the fan photographers are a wonderful addition, as well. Thanks for taking the time to share your talents with us! How fortunate I am to be a part of such a wonderful and dedicated group of fans!
