I Miss You!

Hope everyone is doing well! I sure miss you! Sorry I haven’t been by to visit but will be working on that in the next several days.
As several of you know, I’ve been dealing with shoulder and arm issues and am now going through physical therapy. The treatments can be uncomfortable and cause more soreness and pain. My therapist told me it would probably get worse before it gets better. As they say, “No pain, no gain!” I’ve also been given more exercises to do at home after each visit. Before it’s all over with, I’ll be doing exercises all day long. LOL
Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and Outpatient Therapy is at the hospital which is convenient. It only takes about 10 minutes to get there. I'm hoping and praying I don't end up with a frozen shoulder, and the treatments will help prevent that from happening.
The kids here started back to school on August 19. Our neighbors have two children in the middle school and one in the second grade. They have gotten off to a good start and are enjoying it.
About four weeks ago, they bought a yellow lab and love having a dog to play with. He’s only six months old but is three times as big as Caroline, though she thinks she’s the bigger dog, because she chases him around the yard. It’s really cute and entertaining to watch, and we can’t help but laugh.

I expect Clay is gearing up for his upcoming encore performance in Spamalot. He was really successful and got rave reviews, and the cast and audience certainly embraced him. I think Clay had a lot of fun and enjoyed himself more than he thought he would. This will provide him the opportunity to be in one place so he can spend time with little Parker.

I’ll miss Clay touring, but hopefully he will have something in the works for 2009. Since Parker is so young, it would be difficult to take him on the road. I’m sure Clay wants to be with him as much as possible and is already so attached to the little guy. Knowing how much Clay loves kids, he’s going to be a wonderful Dad. Hope we get to see some pics of the baby soon. I bet he's a cutie! I wish Clay, Jaymes, and Parker the best and much happiness in the future.
