It's so nice to be back!
03/03/08.
Sure hope you have been doing well and staying healthy. I’ve been taking time off to organize my photo albums. Goodness! It has proven to be a much bigger task than I had thought.
Unfortunately, during the time I was working on them, I came down with a flu bug that wiped me out for almost a week. I blame Ron for giving it to me. LOL He got a touch of it earlier and a week later got hit again. We’re both tired and weak but are recovering.
My album project has been put on hold for now, but I hope to resume working on it sometime soon.
I sure have missed you and being online. I have so much catching up to do. Sorry I haven’t been by to visit but will as soon as I can.
I saw the WRAL 16 minute video about Clay’s upcoming CD, and also heard the snippets from his new album. I’m just so excited! It really sounds great!
Thanks to Marleen and Caro for letting me know about the news on Clay’s new CD.
I also heard that he was sick earlier along with several cast members. Clay has been working so hard in Spamalot and on his new album. Sure hope he takes care of himself and doesn’t overdo. I am glad he’s feeling better and is back performing.
BTW, Ron had mentioned to me before that Clay’s music is played at Wal-Mart from time to time. I was so happy when he came home the other day and told me lately he’s been hearing several songs in the store every day from ATDW. Clay may not be getting radio play, but at least he’s getting Wal-Mart play!

Here’s a pic of sweet little Caroline who has kept me company and has been by my side while I was recovering, along with pics of our favorite singer man.

Last by not least, don’t forget to get plenty of rest, take your vitamins, eat healthy, wash your hands…… Oops, there I go again, repeating what our school nurse always told us during cold and flu season. Evidently, I didn’t follow all of the rules. I do have a tendency to share this with Ron before he leaves for work, and he gives me “The Look” to remind me he’s not in the third grade. Once a teacher, always a teacher!

I HOLD YOUR FRIENDSHIP CLOSE TO MY HEART.
