Hope all is well with everyone! Now that Clay has left RCA, I hope everything works out great for him, whether he decides to hook up with another label or decides to go independent. I wish him much happiness and continued success. He deserves it! Clay is so talented and more people should have the opportunity to hear his amazing voice. As Jaymes said, “The best is yet to come!”

It was a surprise to hear another CD, “The Very Best of Clay Aiken” is coming out in the spring. Thanks to Caro for sending me the songs that are included on the album. I'm happy to see that several of my favorites are on the list!

I have a little story to share that shows a child’s point of view of being in a thunderstorm. I’ve always loved kids and that’s why I chose teaching as a career. There such an innocence about children, and they view things so differently than we do. There were so many times I just had to laugh or smile when my student(s) made comments. How it would warm my heart! There is nothing like the honesty, trustworthiness, and sincerity of a child. Enjoy!

A VIEW OF THUNDERSTORMS......

A little girl walked to and from school daily. Though the weather that morning was questionable and the clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school.

As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning. The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school and she feared the electrical storm might harm her child.

Full of concern, the mother quickly got into her car and drove along the route to her child's school. As she did, she saw her little girl walking along. At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile. Another and another flash of lightning followed quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile.

When the mother's car drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called to her, "What are you doing?" The child answered, "I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture."

May God bless you today and everyday as you face the storms that come your way. Just remember to smile.
