current frustrations and other random stuff

01/25/06

Hello everyone...sorry about not updating recently. I've been really busy being confused and attending classes that make me more confused. No entiendo mucho. lol. My man CA updates more frequently than I do. Well, to start everything off, I would just like to say, "You're welcome." to Clay because, after all, every thank you deserves a you're welcome. And he probably deserves a thank you from me, too. Anyways, so one of my problems: I believe that the college I transfered from has been negligent on their part by not telling me I needed a test to get into the college of education. So, I transfered from UW-Washington County to UW-Whitewater so I could start taking classes toward my education degree not knowing anything about some test. Now, I am taking random classes this semester just to, as my advisor put it, "boost my GPA". Whatever! My GPA before I transfered was a cumulative of 3.1. My semester GPA this fall semester here was a 3.5. That's honors! Yes, I'm happy about my grades and I'm happy with the classes I've taken and most of the experiences and people I've met here. My faith in God has grown so much stronger since I've come here and I'm eternally grateful for that. The thing is, on the college of ed website for early childhood ed, it says you're supposed to be starting classes for my major, spring semester of my sophmore year. With everything here, I won't be able to start classes until spring semester my senior year. It's not fair and I'm mad. I don't know, maybe God's trying to teach me a lesson on patience. Either way, it's more thousands of dollars in student loans I'll have to pay back. Gr... Okay, so what is good now? Um...I like my roomates and on Sunday, I went to go see "Hoodwinked" in the theater. It was an awesome movie and I only had to pay $4.00 to see it. Yea for cheap tickets! What else? I'm in the process of applying for a job in the children's center on campus that I might be able to get paid for. Um...I have my notebook back and I am in the process of updating it to present time. My bed is warm and I am blessed by God in many ways. That's what's good. Well, I should get to some homework and do some other stuff. God bless you all in every way! Lots of love!
