NYC Birthday

My trip to NYC for my Birthday and to see Spamalot

I went to NYC for my birthday. My friends Sarah and Julie went with me. It was a great trip. I left on Friday at 10 in the morning. Landed in New York at 1pm and ate lunch with my sister. We got to NYC at about 6pm. We went to the local mall to have a relaxing night. We got up on Saturday and headed to the city. We did the tour bus in the morning. I saw a lot of beautiful sites in the city. We shopped till we dropped at Times Square. The city is definetly a bustling city. Sunday we finished up the tour. We also went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I was shocked by walking the steps the immigrants had to do to get into the country. It was such a reverence to see the memorial site for the Twin Towers. There is such a err of silence in the area. We did more shopping and went back to the hotel. On Monday we got up at 4am to go to the Today Show. It was great to see the show live. I got to see Ashton Kutchner and Cameron Diaz. It was a great suprise. We then went back to my sister's house in Liverpool and relaxed. Then it was Tuesday and time to come back home and back to the real world. On Saturday night we saw Spamalot on Broadway with Clay as Sir Robin. It was an amazing show. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I was laughing so much my stomach hurt and I was crying. Clay was great, he blended into the cast so well, I forgot it was him. He was hamming it up for the show. His face and hand gestures kept me laughing. He can't say that he can't dance anymore. He is a great dancer. He showed his strip socks as he walked off the stage. I went to the stage door to try to get an autograph, but I was to far back. I did get a good pictue though.

It was the best birthday I have had in a long time. It was great to hang out with my sister for our birthday. We haven't got to celebrate our birthday in quite a few years.
