Hey-lo
12/02/06Well, I'm sitting here with my parents and my husband. My parents decided to visit this weekend because my husband was playing bass at a christmas concert at our church. I've had a very enjoyable weekend thus far. This morning was the concert, then I went to Archivers and scrapbooked with my mom for a few hours. I finally got to start working on my wedding scrapbook. Unfortunately, now I've got the scrapbooking bug, and I want to do it all the time. The problem with that is that I don't have all the supplies and tools and gadgets in order to make it the way I want it. Anyway, now my husband is cooking one of his latest creations (He's a much better cook than I am). We might go see "The Nativity Story" later tonight. I've been dying to see that movie. It looks very well done, and it looks like they stayed true to the original story. I love it when movies are made that really bring the bible to life, and show that it's not just a book of boring rules and regulations. I've actually really enjoyed the previews for it. I never expected a preview for a hollywood movie to have phrases like "puts the "Christ" back in Christmas" and "One child who would change the world forever". Things like that make me hopeful for the future. I've always had this dream of changing Hollywood for the better. I've just been worried about how hard it would be to convince the viewing public that sex, unnecessary violence, and bad language were necessary components of a good movie. Things like this ease my mind a little. Anyway, I suppose I've been rambling about this for a little too long. You'll have to excuse me. My Oxycontin has finally kicked in. I should probably sign off before I start sounding completely ridiculous. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
God Bless!
