Well, Mr. Aiken, you are one of a kind and I mean that in the most incredibly wonderful way.

Since Monday when the first rumours of your AI appearance surfaced, panic prevailed. Whould you sing, sit in the audience, promote the new CD, be used by AI - so many scenarios and so much hand-wringing - will he be there or not???

Well, you came, you sang, you returned the "conquering hero". Talk about "Shock and Awe"!!! You looked freaking gorgeous, cutting edge style, unbellievably incredible in the old voice department and yet sweet, and adorable all mixed into one amazing unique package.

We've all been waiting so long for the promotion to start and boy, you and your "people" started with a bang. If the rest of this ablum promotion is anything like last night, we will be giddy with excitement.

I've always had tremendous confidence in the team you have surrounded yourself with - you've become too savvy and smart to have it any other way - I'm ready to sit back and watch it all unfold as you take your rightful place among the legends of the music business.

No one could deny you commanded the stage like no one else last night. You are really and truly loved and I believe your amazing fans picked up a lot of company to join them in this incredible journey you're taking us on.

Edited to add: Well, we've all been waiting for the "Shock and Awe" to begin - AI certainly qualifies as the "Shock" and I mean that in only the very best way - could you ever have dreamt of the impact of that appearance. I'll bet you were nervous. Everyone I know has been talking about you and what a hunk you'e become.

One friend didn't believe it was you until I assured her it was. Needless to say, she was blown away!
