I'm so excited the White Sox have won the first 2 games of the AL Divisional Series against the Red Sox and now it's onto Boston for game 3 on Friday. I would love to just end it there, but I know that's easier said then done, lol. Being at tonight's game was so special. I looked around the Park (aka "the Cell) right before the first pitch and it was full of fans that were just as excited as I was. In Chicago the White Sox are the mere step child to the "wonderful" Cubs. It gets old after a while. But tonight as I looked around it was love for the Sox and it felt really good. It was a good game with a final score of 5-4; hard fought on both sides. We had a group of Red Sox fans behind us that were trying to irritate me, but I was just too happy to let it bother me too much. The funnest thing is the 2 guys felt they could (and I quote) be just like the guys from the Wedding Crasher and get any girl and crash weddings left and right. I hadn't really looked at them when I sat down, so I casually glanced at them and perhaps in there dreams that would happen. Tomorrow brings the movie premeire at the Chicago International Film Festival; Elizabethtown with Susan Sarandon introducing it. From one big fun event to another. Work is so stressful right now I really need this. Well now I'm going from "Excited" to "Happy" to "Sleepy" and if I don't go to bed I will be "sick" So happy dreams (just like thoe lovely Red Sox fans behind me)!!
