Well I leave tomorrow for vacation; long time overdue; I can not wait. Heading to Annapolis Maryland to visit my best friend. We have a number of fun things planned and yes one of them just happens to be Clay's Wolf Trap concert. Poor Pattie is being dragged to the concert; definately not a fan of his; but I can't honestly say she's given him much of a chance or listen. I think she will enjoy the concert; probably for my sake but will she become an instant fan... probably not. That's ok, not everyone has the same taste in music. She is taking me (note I did not say dragging me) to a county concert with a whole bunch of performers the day before (sunday). I'm not a huge country fan actually, but I don't hate it and definately will make every effort to enjoy it; I mean who wouldn't enjoy looking at Keith Urban for a while (YOW!!) Just happy to be spending time with my best friend. We have know each other since grade school and when work took her out east I was very sad. It's always nice to spend time with her and this time will be no exception. The final leg of my trip takes me to meet another friend, Beth, in St Louis to see the Idols tour. We wanted to see it together and this is the only date that worked for both of us. Should be fun; looking forward to seeing a certain Greek boy and a few of the others as well. Then back to Chicago again and back to work for a few days before INDY!!!! Clay certainly has a way of making August fun!!!
