Who guessed Mexican food? I just can't handle it. Too spicy. Too messy. Too pasty. Too dry. There's really nothing about it that I like. The only Mexican food that I can eat is Taco Bell soft tacos, and we all know that isn't really Mexican. It's Ameri-exican. Now, I know that it is almost a certainty that 5 or 6 of you are going to respond to this blog and tell me that YOU could make me some Mexican that I would like. Let me save you thte time. No you can't! :) --- I am sure you are marvelous cooks. In the south we only need to fry things once to make em good. What's with all of this refried mess?

On a lighter note... take a look at some of the pictures of my trip to Middlesex Middle School in Darien, CT last week. These kids were really amazing. They raised over $14,000 for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF this year. By our calculations, they purified over 5 million gallons of water, provied School-in-a-Box kits to almost 6,000 students, or immunized almost 15,000 kids from polio! Way to go! Then, on top of the money they raised, Proctor and Gamble donated an additional $50,000 in their school's name to UNICEF's Trick-or-Treat, raising their total to $64,209. Impressive. Check out the student body of Middlesex Middle... and some dude who needs to shave.
