No More Tears!?!?

They were really flowing in earlier… Wichita especially had them…

But what ever happened to the ones that made me cry?

Not tears of sadness, but tears of hope. Stories of first Christmases with your children; stories of the hope that the season brings. Or the renewal of Christmas spirit lost and remembered.

Wichita through Kalamazoo shows are full of those types of recalled events and memories; DC has a few. Beyond that, its more and more stories about the time the donkey in the church Christmas pageant pooped on the stage and some three year old fell in it, or how the Christmas tree caught on fire and you used egg nog to put it out! Those stories are fun to read, for sure, and I definitely will be choosing some. But, we need some balance… and I would hope that more people have a great memory of the time when their faith was renewed or their outlook on life changed by the power of the season.
