Confused about these blogs. I tend to write this for myself, but if I were going to keep a private journal I highly doubt I'd be doing so in a public forum on Clay Aiken's fansite! So it would seem that we do actually blog in order to express our views and have others read them.

OK. So. MILLION $ QUESTION - how does anyone know when anyone other than Clay melt has blogged? Unless one is 'cruising blogs' at random and happens to hit one, how does one find interesting blogs? And how does one get hits and therefore get comments??

There doesn't even seem to be any indicator as to whether someone has an active blog or not - even for my 'friends' - I check every so often, and some have never set one up, some haven't blogged in over a month, some blogged minutes ago and several times yesterday...but they all look the same...

And here's a thing that I just don't understand...someone leaves a comment asking you a question...is there ANY WAY AT ALL to respond? Click on their name and you get a BLANK blog page. Look them up on members and click - DITTO! Is it just me? Or is there really no way (unless they blog and you can leave and off-topic comment that refers back to a comment they left you on YOUR blog...oy this gets complicated...) to leave a PM?!

I do find this site hard to navigate in general...even my poor l'il "Password Manager" can't prefill my addy (and I WOULD have chosen one of the longest email names EVAH!)...pout
