Comment 2 - the Clangela debate / WDC debate / giggling on stage debate (or is it all one debate?) continue(s) to rage across the boards. Pick pick pick pick pick - wonder if Clay ever feels picked apart (or even picked upon) by his fanbase? It isn't that we don't have the same thing in Op - her tone is pure/her tone is cloudy (discussing same note!)/ I don't like the way she produces her vowels / he makes weird faces / he punches the upper register too much /etc etc etc - but in Pop it's every little thing from hairdo to costume to a random glance onstage, as well as the voice! I sometimes have this vision of little fragmented bits of Clay being pounced on and carried off by fans, each piece still trying to maintain its integrity. Poor guy - glad he seems to know his own mind and doesn't get caught up in trying to please us all!

And now the REAL purpose of today's entry: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Hub's plane should touch down about 7:30 this evening! Tee-hee, who'd-a thunk after 18 years I'd be feeling all fangirly (yep!) over my husband coming home? But have missed him dreadfully.
