This cd is going to be terrific!
Clay has always done covers well and has mostly outshown the originals. Once he sings the song, it is his song. Yes, the original will be remembered, but so will his version. That does not happen with everyone that performs covers.
I don't care what Clay sings, as long as he sings.
Hoping more news will be forthcoming.
Last night we had mediocre to bad coverage of "Love Songs" on AI. Now we have the master preparing to show them how it is really done!
Nothing new with Kyle today. We are waiting to hear the results of the latest MRI so his treatment can begin.
He was in a good mood last night, looking forward to a day alone today. Hoping to sleep. He has not slept more than 3 hours straight since he was diagnosed a few weeks ago (It is true, no sleeping in ICU, they were constantly waking him up for neuro checks and to cart him off for CT scans at 4 in the morning).
The last couple days have been a bit rough for mom. I have been trying not to THINK too much about Kyle's situation. The impact of hearing "Your son has a brain tumor the size of an orange and we can't operate" is sometimes just a bit overwhelming, no matter how positive I try to stay. This should not be happening to a man who is only 21 years old.
I'm glad Clay blogged with cd news. I'll have something else to focus on today.
