Clay Blogged!
I love seeing those words. I miss hearing from him. I miss seeing him on my television. I miss reading interviews with him. Hoping for some soon.
I had just gotten off the phone with my son when Clay blogged. It was nice timing. My son is hanging in there and the only major chemotherapy side-effect he is having is the fatigue.
I've been listening to I Will Carry You along with MCWL quite a bit lately. It is soothing and comforting to me. I love hearing I Will Carry You on klty radio everynight.
I used to listen to that station quite a bit when I lived in Dallas. I'm glad they stream and I still have the opportunity to listen. It is like piping in some of home to my new residence.
I don't vote a lot on all the Clay polls, but I have sent e-mail in to request I Will Carry You. It is nice to know we do have a voice in what is played. Good practice for when that cd is released.
I went to the lake this morning and listened to MCWL. For me, that cd is timeless. It does not have to be Christmas for me to enjoy it. It was incredibly peaceful. Only one other person on the beach. It was a pleasant 72 degrees outside.
I needed that. I am so ready for the American Idol season to be over. I really would like Clay to be back in the public eye soon. I would rather hear about him rather than some mediocre singers from this year's crop.
