Well, rumors or truth, Clay MAY appear in some capacity at the American Idol Finale tonight.

I truly don't care how or why he will appear. My dream would be that he would perform, but I am not expecting that AT ALL. I will just be thrilled to see him after all this time.

My dread? Reading the boards afterwords. I know without a doubt there will be complaints and criticisms. That is one of the things about this fandom that irriates me more than any other. Do I think Clay is perfect and all his choices are perfect? Of course not. But, I'm happy drinking my kool-aide knowing that next time maybe I can cherry flavor rather than grape. Either way it quenches my thirst, which is really all I need anyway.

Update on Kyle.

We had a bit of a scare last week. His white count was dangerously low, but a few days later it was back into an acceptable range.

Still no nausea or vomiting from the chemo (thank God). However, he suddenly started losing patches of hair all over his head. He resolved that by shaving his head again. It had started growing back out after they had shaved it for the brain biopsy. He hasn't quite got the technique of head-shaving down yet, but he is getting there.

He is still keeping a good attitude, can you tell here?

He has been able to go two weeks without an MRI now. He goes back to the hospital for his next round of chemo next week. He sees that as one week closer to the day he won't be trapped in a house, bored to tears.
